Tom Daniels is a full professor with tenure in the Department of City and Regional Planning at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a noted land use scholar, having authored numerous peer-reviewed articles and books as senior author, including The Small Town Planning Handbook now in its third edition. An agricultural economist by training, much of Tom’s work has focused on farm preservation. He previously served as Director of the Agricultural Preserve Board of Lancaster County for almost ten years. His most recent book is The Law of Agricultural Land Preservation in the United States.
