Pennsylvania’s public natural resources are the common property of all the people, including generations yet to come. As trustee of these resources, the Commonwealth shall conserve and maintain them for the benefit of all the people.” Article 1, Section 27 of the PA Constitution.
PennDOT held an open house on June 11th, 2019 to display five alternative plans for the Route 41/841 intersection. A Meeting Handout describing the Purpose and Need for the project is posted on the www.pa41.com website. The project team is currently compiling public comments received at the meeting and through a survey open until June 25th. The Section 106 process has begun.
PennDOT is moving forward with plans for a roundabout at the Route 41/926 intersection.
On June 12th, 2019, the City of Chester Council passed a resolution to pursue monetizing the assets of the CWA and put out a Request for Proposals from potential buyers.
