7:00 - 8:30 p.m.

A Free Virtual Event

With PennDOT proposing improvements on Rt. 41 that include two roundabouts north of US 1 and an intersection redesign for State Street in Avondale (, S.A.V.E. believes the time is right to unveil a high-level concept design for the corridor from MTJ Roundabout Engineering. Mark Johnson will take us through the corridor and demonstrate how roundabouts can improve the roadway from Rt. 926 south to Rt. 7, incorporating updates for the southernly sections of the Rt. 41 corridor that have higher traffic flow, mixed commercial uses, and planned re-development opportunities. The MTJ design incorporates modern roundabouts to improve safety, reduce congestion, and promote good access to businesses, while reducing costs and impacts. Mark is a leading roundabout expert who co-authored the 2010 Federal Highway Administration Roundabout Design Guide. Please plan to join us for this exciting evening event.
